Since 1960’s, Igbaja community have been working hard to ensure that Level of education is been improved from time to time but still the level of education of the pupils/students have not reached the stage at which the community can go to rest.The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F) is planning to work side – by – side with the Able community leaders /Philanthropists/Individuals/ Private sectors to directly assist the educational sector by ensuring the education of the pupils/students is improved to some greater length in Igbaja. “Let us build a greater Igbaja land through the Education of our children” is the motto of the Foundation’s Board. It is to further this goal that these concerned Able community leaders /Philanthropists/Individuals/Private sectors lend their time and support. The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F), which sponsors the educational needs of some selected pupils/students, is a non – profit organization founded in 2012.

Our Visions

1. To design and implement initiatives to improve our educational standards of our schools and bring excellence to public education in Igbaja.

2. To advice concerned Able community leaders/Philanthropists/Individuals/Private sectors to at least educate a child through “OPERATION EDUCATE A CHILD TODAY” campaign by assisting some selected pupils/students to achieve their educational pursuit.

3. To improve the pupils/students’ motive towards education as long as they know that there is an incentive attached to educational excellence.

4. To create other numerous educational needs to the selected pupils/students and schools in Igbaja during the critical time.

5. To motivate teachers to enable quality knowledge to be given to pupils/students residing in Igbaja.

6. To increase public awareness of the critical role that teachers play in student’s achievement and facilitate community discussions of public educational issues such as treating topics like “Crisis in the Classroom” focusing on teacher recruitment and retention.

This area is designed for our donors – those who have supported our work and those who are considering a gift to advance our mission. The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F) founded in 2012. To expand our mission, we work to generate support for public education, raise funds for improvements in our schools in Igbaja, pilot new initiatives and help communicate how people can get involved in improving public education especially pupils/students. Ultimately, pupils/students’ achievements is our main goal.

As an independent non – profit organization, The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F) will be very active from time to time. We continually adjust to the needs and priorities of our students as well as schools if need arises.Through all our work, we remain focused on our ultimate goal of impacting academic success for all pupils/students in Igbaja.

Why ICEF

Igbaja people have moved some steps further in terms of children education in Igbaja but there are still some levels of illiteracy in the community and there is a need to reduce this level of illiteracy to the lowest percentage. The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F) will offer some educational incentives to selected pupils/students after series of different assessments have been conducted. Please be assured that we are here to serve all of the selected pupils/students’ “education funding” needs. Please remember, we are saving the future of Igbaja land through Education – that is all that we do at ICEF.

Get Involved

The Igbaja Children Education Fund (I.C.E.F) provides many opportunities for able community leaders/Philanthropists/Individuals/Private sectors to contribute to Igbaja Public Schools and pupils/students’ needs.

2. Donate excess inventory, office supplies or miscellaneous items to the Igbaja Centre for Educational Needs, where teachers shop for free to supply their classrooms with additional items and materials. 3. Sponsor one of our numerous events and get your business, mission and values up front other people in the teaching community.
